A vanity is a group of connected products. A cabinet can be correctly made and still fail to work with the selected basin, tap or waste connection. Treat the assembly as one coordinated package even when its components come from different suppliers.
Establish the interfaces
Show the cabinet dimensions, basin position, countertop overhang, tap location and service clearances on one drawing. Confirm whether the basin is supplied loose or factory installed. Identify the exact tap and waste references, including any installation dimensions needed by the fabricator.
Review the room conditions
Ask the local installer to check plumbing positions, wall support, door swings and delivery access. Wall-mounted arrangements require a suitable support design; a product photograph is not evidence that the existing wall can carry the assembly. Confirm the responsibilities before placing the order.
Package checklist
- Cabinet, basin, top, mirror and accessories clearly itemized.
- Drawer or shelf clearances around services.
- Fixing components and installation instructions.
- Moisture-related material information and care guidance.
Request packing that protects the parts separately while keeping their identities linked. At inspection, compare the assembly dimensions with the approved drawing and verify that the included components correspond to the quoted package. Resolve missing accessories before consolidation rather than discovering them during installation.
AN Sourcing buying notes. These are practical procurement checklists; specifications, service scope and destination requirements should be confirmed for the actual order.
